This is from the first story. Kaoru is walking along ( probably coming back from teaching a lesson ) and she decides to stop and admire the scenery by the river.

And as luck would have it, Kenshin happens to be out too. He stops when he sees Kaoru sitting by the river and decides to sneak up on her and puts his hands over her eyes. Kaoru is a little freaked out but then she sees that it's only Kenshin.

Kenshin then decides to sit with Kaoru and keep her company. In this picture Kaoru is gazing at Kenshin and becomes lost in thought. Kenshin catches her staring, making her feel embarrassed.

After Kaoru gets over her embarrassment though, she decides to lean against Kenshin and snuggle w/ him ( awwe ) and then in this picture Kenshin puts his arm around her.

From the second and shortest story. Kaoru has turned into a little girl! ( This is suspiciously like another story in another doujinshi that I scanned ) The Kenshin-gumi are a bit confused as to what to do, although Megumi just thinks it's funny. At the end of the story baby Kaoru gives Kenshin a kiss who backs away immediately ( I'm not sure if it's because they banged foreheads or if Kenshin is weirded out by kissing her as a baby ).

This is from the last story in the doujinshi. Kenshin is looking for Kaoru and finds her sitting on the roof of the dojo. He starts panicking and yelling at her to get down because he's worried that she could get hurt. Kaoru is amused by his reaction.

When Kaoru doesn't come down Kenshin rushes up onto the roof to try and make sure she doesn't fall. They end up talking a little and then in the end...

TA DA! They kiss! Don't you just love a happy romantatic ending? This is how the story ends so you don't get to see what happens next.
