  • The Tokyo arc of the TV series is colored in purple. Extras include previews for other animes, liner notes, creditless openings and closings, and image galleries. A few of them even have english seiyuu outtakes.
  • The Kyoto arc of the TV series is colored in red. Extras include previews for other animes, outtakes, liner notes, and creditless openings and closings. The setup of the menu is different from the Tokyo arc disks.
  • The 'Tales of the Meiji era' arc is colored in blue. Extras include previews for other animes, outtakes, and liner notes. And yet another menu setup.
  • The ova Tsukiou Hen is colored in black. Extras include previews for other animes (played before the actual menu), characer bios, previews of Samurai X, historical notes, and screenwriter's notes.
  • and the Samurai X motion picture is colored in green. Extras include previews for other animes (played before the actual menu), and previews of Samurai X.
