RK Cosplay |
This section pays homage to the truly dedicated... To the Rurouni Kenshin obsessed. Posted here are pictures of people who cosplay as Rurouni Kenshin characters and represent the Kenshin fan base at the cons! For those of you who've never heard of cosplay, it's when a person dresses up as their favorite character from anime/manga/video game/j-pop/etc. People often put a great deal of time and effort into making their costumes as accurate as possible, and the best places to see the results of all that hard work are the various anime conventions that are held all around the globe. To some people this may seem rather extreme, but it's all good fun. I always cosplay whenever I go to an anime convention and it's always a lot of fun. To not cosplay would be like going to a Halloween party and being one the only people not in costume.
note: All of the photos in this section thus far were taken by me, and I made sure that the people in the photos were okay with me posting them here. Otakon 2007 This was my first time going to Otakon. I used to always go to Anime Boston, but for the past two years I've been away at college when it's been held. Since Anime Boston is still pretty new as far as cons go, Otakon is... slightly larger... and by slightly larger, I mean much much larger... It was kind of overwhelming. Myself and Miss Kaoru both had a blast and look forward to attending again next year. Unfortunately, my digital camera literally crapped out on me the moment we arrived at the con, so I had to buy a crappy disposable camera to use instead. As a result the pictures I took were not the best quality, but I did my best to clean them up in photoshop. |
